A practical match-day workflow for scorers

Crickova gives cricket scorers fast, familiar controls for recording deliveries while automatically maintaining the innings, scorecard and player figures behind the match.

Prepare before the toss

A reliable score starts with the correct fixture, teams and playing squads. The tournament’s rules set the expected over limit and treatment of wides, no-balls and LBW, while the match keeps its own copy of those rules.

Once the batting side and opening players are confirmed, the scorer can begin from a clear match context rather than building the scorebook during the first over.

  • Confirm the fixture
  • Select both squads
  • Review match rules
  • Choose opening players

Record each delivery

The score pad supports dot balls, runs, boundaries, extras and wickets. Batter and bowler changes follow the flow of the innings, and special match events can be recorded with the context needed for the final scorecard.

Every saved delivery updates the team total and individual figures. That gives the scorer immediate feedback while preserving a ball-by-ball history for the match.

Close the innings with confidence

At the end of an over or innings, the scorer can review totals and progression before the result is finalised. Completed match events then feed the batting, bowling, fielding, over-by-over and season views.

Scoring controls stay inside the authenticated tournament area. The public live page and scorecard share only the cricket information intended for supporters.
